I have received an awful lot of e-mail regarding the Microtek scanner. Some of the viewers thought that it was a current rebate. It was one of those special one-day deals to build traffic in the store.

To get deals like that you have to be diligent by continually checking the advertisements in your local daily newspapers. Normally the deals are advertised one to three days prior to the sale and are in limited quantities. For the scanner that I got the store opened at 7:00 a.m. but I had to get there at 5:30 a. m. in order to be assured that I would leave with a scanner. Sorry if the story was misunderstood.
