	The Land of Fruits and Nuts

	For the last thirty years I've endured comments from friends in the East and a good deal of the media pundits that California was "the land of fruits and nuts". I defended California, assuring my friends that the weird and crazy people in the state were a very small minority. Then it happened on October 07, 2003. The people of the State of California ousted a duly elected governor, although unpopular and replaced him with a body building actor that sixteen woman have alleged is a sexual predator. How do I defend California now? Tim
